Godfrey Weldt, Financial Controller
Godfrey Weldt is a Chartered Management Accountant (UK) and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He has extensive experience in mining and manufacturing companies and held senior finance positions for overseas and Australian companies. Godfrey joined A1 Minerals after spending some time with a private family contracting company.
Mark Jury, Approvals Officer
Mr Jury has a Bachelor of Science majoring in Environmental Science, and has spent five years in mining industry in gold, nickel and alumina and has been with A1 Minerals for the past year. He has undertaken various roles – predominantly laboratory technician, statutory approvals and environmental management. Prior to joining the mining sector Mark spent 10 years in small business, agronomy & farm merchandise, with 6 years managing a small business.
Emma Pullan, Human Resources Officer
Emma, who joined A1 Minerals in 2009, evolved into the role managing human resources for the company. After completing her Bachelor of Psychology at Curtin University she has worked around the world in different industries including working with autistic children and managing two luxurious chalets in the Alps in France. Emma is enjoying the challenge of working within the corporate world of the mining industry, especially in an HR role, as working with people has always been her forte.
Gordon Garnsey, Consulting Mining Engineer
Mr Garnsey is a mining engineer with over 40 years experience in the mining sector. His experience is in operational and planning roles, in open cut and underground mines, and covers an extensive range of minerals. Gordon holds an Associateship in Mining Engineering from the Western Australian Institute of Technology, a Graduate Diploma in Computing from the Canberra College of Advanced Education, and First Class Mine Manager's Certificates for Western Australia and Queensland. He is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy.
